First-rate quality and impeccable sound
Sony's premium series is made of the best materials available. The aluminium frame creates a durable shell that blocks out any interference. Its oxygen-free copper cables with little resistance deliver superior channel separation, whereas the MELF resistors minimise distortion. Trouble-free performance is ensured by high-capacity TF CAP capacitors.
Ideal for day-to-day listening
Owing to its small size, light weight, touchscreen, and intuitive control, the Walkman is the ideal product for daily use. Working with the large 4" touchscreen will seem as natural as ever after a while; however, if you happen to prefer buttons, you will be able find a few as well. Given its long battery life, the device seldom runs out of power.
Multiple connectivity options
The player is able to read all the file formats you can possibly think of - anything ranging from the basic mp3, including quality FLAC files, to the professional DSD format. Connection with a computer can be established through a USB cable or via Bluetooth. When it comes to listening to music, you can opt for either regular headphones with a 3.5mm jack, or for a 4.4mm jack that transmits perfect sound without any blemishes whatsoever. In case the already enormous built-in memory proves insufficient, it can be expanded through a microSD card slot.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
