Wooden School Supplies - Large wooden counter

This large wooden abacus is a modern version of the oldest calculator in the world. With its large size, it is designed perfectly so that small children can easily explore the counting beads. Each row of beads consists of 10 balls in two bright colours. Even maths can be fun! But the abacus isn’t just for teaching maths. Just pushing the beads back and forth is something every child loves to do, and they will learn so much just by playing!

The wooden counter has a CE label and is manufactured in accordance with the European Toy Safety Standard EN 71. The paints used in manufacturing are specially made for use with children’s toys; they are non-toxic and resistant to abrasion as well as saliva. The timber for production was supplied by forestry companies using sustainable growing methods. With your purchase, you support the maintenance of our vitally important forests.
