Ubiquiti UniFi U7 In-Wall
The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 WiFi Access Point is a dual-band network device with Wi-Fi 7 support, offering a total transfer speed of up to 4300Mbps in the 5GHz band. This indoor access point uses non-detachable antennas and MU-MIMO technology to efficiently serve multiple devices simultaneously. The wall-mountable design is ideal for hospitality and commercial spaces. Its compact body houses an integrated switch with 2.5GbE speed and Power over Ethernet.

Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The device fully utilises the 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard and is backward compatible with older 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards. It operates on two frequency bands, providing transfer speeds of up to 4.3Gbps on the 5GHz band and up to 688Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. MU-MIMO technology in a 2×2 configuration on both bands transmits a total of four spatial streams. The transmitters use a channel width of up to 240MHz for smooth, lag-free transmission of large data volumes.
Mesh technology and coverage
The access point covers an area of up to 115m² with a stable signal and handles connections for over 200 active client devices at once. Wireless meshing links multiple units into a single network under one name, without the need to run extra cables. Band Steering technology automatically directs devices to the less congested frequency band. Advanced roaming facilitates a seamless transition for users between individual access points within the building.
Wireless network security
Security features include modern WPA3 encryption, complemented by client device isolation and guest network isolation. Administrators can set schedules for wireless network operation or use Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK) authentication. The system supports the RADIUS over TLS protocol for secure transmission of authentication data. Users can log in via a captive portal with support for vouchers or external authentication servers.
Connectivity options
Connectivity consists of a total of three 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports, which function as an integrated switch. One port is for PoE+ input, and another port offers PoE output to power an additional network element. The access point requires a PoE+ power supply for operation with an active PoE output. The device requires a supply voltage in the range of 42.5 to 57V DC.
