WESTERN DIGITAL Caviar AV Green Power 1000GB 16MB Cache with Advanced Format

Excellent economical hard disk with a capacity of 1000 gigabytes of Caviar AV series suitable for multimedia use and optimized for HD video. The key to such a high capacity is the use of perpendicular write.Perpendicular write technology allows the storage plate perpendicular to the disk, the data record is so dense and capacity several times higher than the older longitudinal registration. With its low power consumption and noise emitted from the disk is suitable for home audio video technology, multimedia PC, or HTPC for use in external boxes.

Mark Green Power marks the breakthrough technology of hard drives, which reduces operating consumption, heat and radiated noise.Provide her saving features IntelliPower and IntelliSeek. The first of these disk platters synchronized speed, transfer rate and caching to reduce disk consumption as well as the best performance.IntelliSeek calculates the optimum interplay of heads and platters for the best balance between performance, consumption and noise. This feature saves battery life and disk environment. For smooth operation of such capacity, the disc has a special filesystem Advanced Format, which is a great means of modern operating systems like Microsoft Windows 7
