The world's lightest Flip device
The Galaxy Z Flip8 weighs 8 grams less than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip7, making it the thinnest and lightest Flip device that fits comfortably even in a small pocket.¹
Smoother unfolding – again and again
The Galaxy Z Flip8 comes with an improved Armour FlexHinge and a wider gap in the inner bezel, which together make it easier to open.²
Ready to go anywhere
The body of the Galaxy Z Flip8 is protected by an Armour Aluminium frame, and the display by Corning Gorilla Glass, making it a device designed to withstand even demanding situations.³
Alone or together. Hands-free
Everyday photographers can capture every shot in its natural glory with the Galaxy Z Flip8's 50Mpx sensor. The FlexCam lets you shoot hands-free to capture natural skin tones and true texture. Switch to FlexMode and activate auto-zoom to capture everyone in the shot, try the classic camcorder-style grip mode for shooting videos, or use the Dual Preview feature so your subjects can see themselves on the display while filming. The Portrait mode and rear cameras then work together to create a stereo bokeh effect, which uses artificial intelligence to add natural depth to all your shots.⁴
Super stable video – even when things get moving
If you're a vlogger who loves to capture first-person content, you'll appreciate the Super Steady and Horizontal Lock features. This automatically detects the horizon and keeps the shot level – even if your device rotates a full 360 degrees. For more stability when filming other people, you can use the classic camcorder-style grip, and for self-portraits, the FlexCam preview.⁵
POV: your Flip is more than just a phone
Now you can take mirror selfies with a unique element that tastefully complements your look. Using the Flip Shot feature, you can customise your home screen background with your favourite photos, drawings or even write a message to express yourself while taking the shot.⁶
Dual recording⁷
Create dynamic content from different points of view. Turn on split-screen, which can be displayed in both the FlexWindow and on the main screen, so you and your subject can watch the video simultaneously for perfectly synchronised shots. Then share the video without editing to make reliving the moment as easy as capturing it in the first place.
Makes every shot shine
Capture every detail in perfect resolution. Galaxy Z Flip8 boasts an excellent camera setup.⁸
A personalised overview, just for you⁹
Stay in control of your day with personalised overviews available at a glance right from the FlexWindow. Now Brief not only intelligently learns your routines, but you can also customise it to receive summaries based on your interests, such as weather, health and more.
A photo studio in your phone
Edit photos quickly and easily using AI features with just a few words. Naturally describe the edits you want to make, and Galaxy AI will enhance the picture for you. Then watch it come to life before your eyes in minutes.¹⁰
One UI for all your needs
The One UI 9 interface, optimised for the Galaxy Z Flip8 phone, lets you access the app drawer on the FlexWindow as easily as on the main display. You can move, add or delete widgets like Gallery, Weather, Health or Calendar directly on the outer screen to instantly customise your interface.¹¹
Supports your work and creativity
Galaxy Z Flip8 combines a next-generation central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU) and neural processing unit (NPU) to support the way you discover content and express yourself. It’s equipped with the most powerful processor developed specifically for Galaxy devices, so it can handle even demanding days without disrupting your workflow. The advanced neural processing unit (NPU) powers AI tools that help you instantly bring ideas to life, while the graphics processing unit (GPU) ensures smooth visuals when viewing or creating any content.¹²
Always by your side
The 4300mAh battery built into the device's compact body lets you fully immerse yourself in viewing for up to 31 hours.¹³
See everything in natural colours
Improved expression of colour tones and light refraction, thanks to the advanced Digital Natural Image (mDNIe) mobile processor technology, ensures richer final tones. Plus, a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits lets you enjoy colours in their full spectrum, whether you're indoors or outdoors.¹⁴
Transfer everything via QR code
Transfer your files, photos, calendars and other data all at once with a single scan of a QR code. The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 imports your favourite settings itself, so you start in a familiar environment and changing phones is easier – even when switching from an iPhone.¹⁵
Quick Share
Conveniently share photos and files with other Galaxy devices or other brands.¹⁶
Connected security with Galaxy
The Personal Data Processing Module collects and processes your data with an emphasis on privacy. It then encrypts and stores it directly on your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 device using the KEEP and Knox Vault platforms to best protect it from online threats. Decide whether AI functions are processed on the device or in the cloud, and enjoy convenience and security in one. The Knox Matrix security system can connect and protect the entire ecosystem of Galaxy devices. You can control it directly from your smartphone, so you always have a perfect overview.¹⁷

Creating a better world – the immodest vision which has driven Samsung since its inception in 1938. The courage to invest in the development of new technologies is typical for the company, as evidenced by a series of visionary solutions. Currently, Samsung is the largest group of companies in South Korea and the third largest worldwide conglomerate by revenue.
Samsung consumers associate the brand with high-quality consumer electronics. It is known for its Galaxy series, one of the best and most sought after mobile phones in its class. One must also mention Samsung TVs, where the company has long been at the cutting edge in technology and quality. The competence of the company is much broader. It is active in machinery and heavy industry, chemicals, construction, retail, and financial services.
