ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse A-RGB
The ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse A-RGB fan ensures efficient cooling for your computer components. Its reverse airflow design allows it to draw in air from the rear, which contributes to a clean build aesthetic with no visible fan frames when mounted on the bottom or side panel of the case. This 120mm PWM fan combines high performance with noise and vibration reduction technologies. A wide speed range of 500 to 3000rpm makes it suitable for builds that require both quiet operation at low loads and intensive cooling at full power. The fan's design focuses on effective cooling and visual integration into modern PC cases with addressable A-RGB backlighting.
Key features of the ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse A-RGB PC fan
- Fluid Dynamic Bearing
- Speed range from 500 to 3000rpm
- Speed controlled by a PWM signal
- Operating voltage of 12V DC
- A-RGB backlighting for visual customisation
- PST technology for daisy-chaining multiple fans
Optimised blade design
The fan blades are shaped to direct the airflow with reduced losses. The pipe-shaped intake geometry and teardrop-shaped spokes guide the airflow with less resistance. This design limits turbulence and reduces aerodynamic noise. Small gaps between the blades and the frame increase static pressure by preventing air from leaking back. This enables the fan to achieve high efficiency when pushing air through dense radiator fins or dust filters.
Electronics and FDB bearing
A modern IC microcontroller actively reduces motor noise and compensates for load fluctuations to maintain stable speeds. It also integrates protection against current spikes and reverse polarity. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing, with its modified shaft design, operates more quietly thanks to better pressure distribution and reduced vibration. An oil film inside the bearing prevents direct contact between metal parts, which reduces friction, noise, and wear, contributing to the fan's long lifespan.
Balanced and smooth operation
The manufacturing process includes automated measurement and dynamic balancing of the rotor. During production, sensors detect even the slightest imbalances that could cause vibrations. Based on precise data, a high-precision balancing mass is applied to specific points on the rotor. This process neutralises vibrations directly at the source, delivering smooth and quiet fan operation across the entire speed spectrum, thereby reducing noise transfer to the computer case structure.
PWM control and synchronisation
The fan speed is regulated by a PWM signal, which gives the motherboard precise control within the 500 to 3000rpm range. The technology connects multiple fans in series. You can control all connected fans synchronously from a single connector on the motherboard, which simplifies cable management and unifies cooling performance. When the PWM signal is below 5%, the fan stops completely for absolutely silent operation.
