The feet have inserts embedded in the hard plastic body and as low as the hard edge of the body, it is possible for the feet to scratch the hard floor. There should be rubber inserts that extend a few mm over the hard edge of the footplate body. If there was a pattern on them, they would work equally well on a hard floor or carpet.
The main problem I see is the pedal mounting - the supplied screws can go through the cutouts in the pedal plate. They should have larger heads or pads should be supplied. I was mounting some of the most used pedals for the Logitech G29 and the pedals lined up on those wide slots so that one screw really started to go through the slot and I couldn't tighten it.
Getting bolt washers for the pedals seems like a necessity to me, so the buyer still has a visit to the hardware store ahead of them.
Maybe the stand could be a few inches narrower?
Would it be possible to build some sort of folding state into the stand, where the stand can still stand stably on its own and does not need to be supported by anything?
