Wi-Fi Connectivity and Speed
This dual-band router fully supports the Wi-Fi 5 standard with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols to ensure compatibility with both older and modern devices. The wireless network operates on two frequency bands with a total speed of up to 1,167Mbps, which is split into 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on the 5GHz band. Advanced MU-MIMO technology ensures efficient signal distribution to multiple devices simultaneously without loss of speed. Connectivity is provided by a combined WAN/LAN port and a separate LAN port, both supporting 100Mbps speeds for wired connections to computers or televisions. The integrated SIM card slot enables a mobile internet connection.
Coverage and Capacity
The device reliably covers an area of 80–100m², which corresponds to a typical family house or flat. The router can handle a maximum of 64 simultaneously connected devices, with the recommended number of connected clients being 48 to maintain full network stability. Mobile signal distribution is handled by two detachable external LTE antennas with a gain of 2dBi, while the Wi-Fi signal is broadcast by two internal antennas with a gain of 3dBi.
Security and Data Protection
Wireless network security is ensured by WPA, WPA2, and WPA2-PSK standards, which protect transmitted data from unauthorised access. The integrated firewall provides active defence against network threats, including protection against TCP SYNC flood and ICMP flood attacks. For secure remote connection to a corporate or home network, it offers broad support for VPN protocols including PPTP Server, PPTP Client, L2TP Client, and IPsec Client. There is also the option to create a separate Guest Zone network for visitors and advanced parental controls with URL filtering.
