Turning it to the right adds attractive bass and sparkling highs for a more intense musical experience and HiFi sound.
Listen Up Close and from a Distance
The second potentiometer on the MACKIE CR4.5 speakers is used to adjust the volume, and the Desktop/Bookshelf mode switch on the back allows you to influence the internal optimisation for near-field or far-field listening. When you need quiet at night, or when you don't want to be disturbed by your surroundings, you can use the headphone output.
Wide Connectivity Options
The MACKIE CR4.5 speakers are always sold as a pair, with one of the monitors serving as the master, containing the controls and the amplifier, and the other connected via the speaker cable that is included in the package. The monitors have balanced TRS inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs, and a stereo input for quick connection to a phone or laptop.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, and to listen, all you need to do is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are designed for high-quality, loud and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect various sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and above).Specifications
