Keeping 13

After a nasty injury, Johnny is sidelined and stripped of his beloved number thirteen jersey. Johnny feels lost, insecure, and in a desperate attempt to find solace, he turns his attention to unravelling the mystery of a girl with midnight-blue eyes. Shannon has always been able to keep a secret – the environment she was born into taught her that. She already knows that demons and evil men don't just exist in fairy tales. They exist in her world too. She has built a protective wall around herself, and the only one who can overcome it is the boy she gave her heart to. Determined to protect her younger brothers, she resorts to old, familiar tactics, but keeping her head above water is getting harder and harder. Recommended age 15+
