Repairmen of Time: Depths of the Dark Past
Don't mess with time! Time is playful and in return it will play with you...
One tiny lie will change the history of the world.
The Titanic will not sink this time - thanks to early warning it will reach its destination. But among the passengers, there will also survive people who should never have had the chance to intervene in the course of the twentieth century.
Suddenly the world is different from what we know from history books. But even a seemingly positive change can spell disaster. Time takes a toll on every repair. And the time repairmen are coming...
To correct his mistake, Mirek must put the past back where it belongs. Maja's life is at stake.
How to change the world for the better without it falling apart? It's almost a superhuman task.
The writer Karel Čapek, President Edvard Beneš, and MP Milada Horáková know about it. Their fates will also be caught up in a fierce game about the shape of history, to which Mirek and Maja have a secret key. It is not just about individual lives, but about a future worth living in. What power does a word, an action, or a personal sacrifice have to change anything?
And what can two lone players do against an entire community that protects history? Does it make sense to fight it - or to try to control it from within?
