I've had them on hand for a few hours and so far so good, all the initial setup is really simple and intuitive. At worst, the internet is full of it - from tutorials on reddit on what and how to properly lubricate to videos on YT. I was afraid of the transition from the AMOLED touchscreen but the button control is really simple and logical. It sits more comfortably on the hand than the AW SE 44mm even with the original strap but I will definitely try another one.
They seem chunky but on my 17cm diameter wrist they are really comfortable and I don't find them heavy

They are really big, but I got used to it after a week. I sleep with my watch. I regularly bump into the door frames at home with them - they've got scratched, I'll probably have to repaint them (those frames! ). I was looking for "dumb digital" and I'm actually very happy with them. They make me feel like James Bond. GPS adds miles to activity (a few %) at the lowest accuracy. Solar charging doesn't make sense for us, it drew a nice graph by the sea, but it didn't add a percentage.
I've had them for a year. Still super stamina.
I charge once a month when recording weekend hiking.
They managed the week-long "expedition" to the Alps on a single charge.
