These are my 3rd Instincts, the first ones were the original Instinct series, I replaced them with Instinct Crossovers which had sealing problems, so I got these (Solar 2X) as a replacement. I can't complain. Battery life of 42 days without solar charging is realistic. Since the last charge, I have been in Austria, measured 3 full-day mountain hikes and one half-day hike with them. In total, they managed 16 days on this charge, of which 20 hours were pure activity measurement time. Impressive to me. Then I would like to comment on solar charging. After this trip to Austria, I continued to work for another week, when I forgot the charger at home during the long weekend at the cottage. On Friday, the sun was supposed to shine all day and be around 30 degrees, so I charged the watch with a 4% battery in the sun. After 5 hours, I had 11% batteries, and from a life of less than two days, I had less than 6. For me, absolutely unreal. Regarding the other reviews with the issue of strap length - I have wide wrists and still have 9 holes left in the strap, so at least the Instinct 2X have a good strap. Another positive is the weight of the watch. Yes, compared to the first Instincts, the weight has increased a little, but I still don' t even know I have them on my hand all day. The last positive that goes along with the entire Instinct line - the strap itself is great. I am atopic and even on the worst summer days, the watch is not a problem for me. The perforation of the tape is sufficient so that the skin under it breathes beautifully. So much for my review. If I come up with any other interesting feature/ability, I will share further.
