• Fingerprint reader for quick unlocking of the phone

Brilliant display

The IPS display with an unconventional diagonal of 5.15" offers Full HD resolution and an excellent balance between quality and energy consumption. With 16 million realistic colours and sharp detail, games and movies will provide a completely immersive experience. The Xiaomi Mi5 has 16 ultra-bright and energy-saving LEDs that improve brightness by up to 30% while maintaining exceptionally vivid colours. The frame around the display is very thin so it doesn't take up too much space or increase the dimensions of the phone.

Top-notch photos and videos

Above the display you will find a 4Mpx front-facing selfie camera. However, the main lure of the Mi5 is the enhanced rear camera with a Sony sensor, four-axis stabilization, and a resolution of 16 megapixels. Its features include autofocus, panorama mode, HDR, touch focus, face and smile detection, and a LED flash that helps out in low light conditions. The lens can handle video recording at up to 1080p.

Fingerprint reader and fast charging

The fingerprint reader is a very effective safety feature that will make your life easier. Secure your data and unlock your phone in a fraction of a second without the need for a swipe gesture or a numeric code. Do you spend a lot of time on the go and forgot to charge your phone in time? Then you will appreciate the Qualcomm 3.0 QuickCharge function which charges the 3000mAh battery from full discharge to 83% in just 30 minutes.

Dual SIM capability

Demanding users will appreciate the presence of a second SIM card slot. With Dual SIM, you can use different data tariffs to save money and help you when roaming, or you can combine your work and personal phone into one device. The Xiaomi Mi5 is simply a beautifully designed, generously equipped device that can boldly challenge the best smartphones in the world. Compared to its competitors, however, it is available at much lower prices.
