The ASUS monitor will enhance your PC system with a panel with a 24" display size. The aspect ratio is 16:9. The proverbial cornerstone of the monitor is the TN technology, which delivers affordability and excellent brightness coupled with fast response. The monitor has a 1920 × 1080px resolution. The extra swift 1ms is ideal for playing action games, not to mention it keeps the picture razor-sharp. The 144Hz refresh rate is rather impressive, reduces eye fatigue, and ensures smooth image rendering. ASUS promises a brightness of 350cd/m2. The device uses DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI 1.4 for PC connection.
The ASUS screen needs a large enough desk to accommodate its dimensions of 56.94 × 49.99 × 23.1cm, with an adjustable height. The monitor comes with a classic stand, but you can attach it to the wall via a VESA mount. The device weights 5.5kg. The pivot function gives you a wide range of usage options, since you can turn the display and use it an vertical position. A welcome addition are the in-built speakers, with a satisfying audio output for the thrifty computer users who don't want to spend their hard-earned money on external speakers. The key parameter you should check is the input; with the 24" ASUS VG248QZ it is DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI 1.4. You can hook up your headphones right to the monitor.
