Cutting-edge Mini LED technology
TCL QD-Mini LED combines the advantages of QLED and OLED technologies, replacing traditional backlighting with a solution with a precision close to the individual pixel level. The TCL 98C6K uses world-class QLED technology to deliver OLED-comparable contrast and colour gamut, while also achieving higher peak brightness and a longer lifespan. TCL's All-domain Halo Control technology takes care of precise lighting control, from light generation to display. The TCL TV has a total of 512 local dimming zones, which realistically renders both light and dark scenes. The contrast reaches a value of up to 7000:1. The 23-bit bidirectional control technology can accurately detect the ambient brightness and colour temperature and subtly adjust the brightness and colour temperature of the screen itself.
The HVA panel of the TCL smart TV captures every detail
The advanced HVA panel provides more pronounced and accurate contrast while effectively suppressing unwanted light reflections and distracting ambient light. The result is a clearer, sharper and more detailed picture even in challenging lighting conditions. In addition to its great visual performance, the TCL 98C6K will also delight you with lower power consumption and wider viewing angles, so you can enjoy a great picture from anywhere in the room.
Native 144Hz refresh rate
Thanks to the high refresh rate, the picture on your TCL TV is smooth, sharp and stutter-free. The TCL 98C6K supports a native 144Hz refresh rate in 4K resolution. That's why you'll enjoy a precise picture when gaming or watching action films or sports.
TCL TV with a state-of-the-art processor for a clear picture
The AiPQ Pro processor, developed by TCL, includes a number of unique algorithms for tuning picture quality. This chip has excellent intelligent sensing capabilities and is able to make picture quality adjustments at the individual pixel level, providing a superior viewing experience.
AI-powered picture enhancement
The TV is equipped with a powerful processor that uses advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. The algorithms include:
- Ai-Clarity recognises the image in detail and performs low-resolution upsampling and accurate noise reduction.
- Ai-Colour perceives the image in a similar way to the human eye and optimises colours in terms of volume, saturation and contrast.
- Ai-HDR makes your TCL TV smart when decoding different HDR formats. This ensures you see the picture exactly as the creator intended.
- Ai-Contrast dynamically optimises the contrast ratio to adapt to different visual scenarios, including dark and bright scenes with lots of detail.
- Ai-Motion sensitively detects fast-moving objects, analyses their size and position in the image, and restores smooth, sharp motion.
DTS Virtual:X technology
The TCL 98C6K delivers true 3D surround sound with DTS Virtual:X technology, which creates virtual surround sound that comes from the sides and above. The result is an immersive listening experience without the need for additional hardware.
Immersive surround sound with Dolby Atmos
The TCL 98C6K TV is equipped with a Hi-Fi ONKYO 2.1 system with an independent subwoofer. You will enjoy deep bass and detailed sound. Your ears won't miss any musical or cinematic detail. With Dolby Atmos surround sound, which creates a spatial 3D effect, you'll always be at the centre of the action.
Smart TV with advanced gaming features
Play like a pro and enjoy a smooth, clean picture in any situation. The TCL 98C6K TV supports HDMI 2.1, ALLM, 144Hz VRR and 120Hz VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. You'll also have the Gamebar, which provides optimised picture modes for all three major gaming platforms, allowing you to quickly and easily customise graphics and other key parameters. With 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios, your field of view is doubled. This allows you to see much more, which lets you react to in-game situations even faster.
The TCL 98C6K offers advanced connectivity
Google TV is equipped with a range of ports and modern technologies for easy and fast connection. You can connect to the internet easily via an ethernet cable or via 5GHz Wi-Fi.
