A place for a new beginning

A Place for New Beginnings is a moving story about Lilac McCarthy, who is trying to get back on her feet after a tragic loss. She pours all her energy into the family farm, Cherry Hill, which is not just her source of income but, more importantly, her last link to a past she doesn't want to lose. The daily chores, tending to the orchard, and preparing for the traditional festival give her life meaning and order – and help keep the pain at bay.

But when Bo Radisson – once a close friend, first love, and old rival – unexpectedly returns to her life, Lilac's carefully constructed world begins to shake. Bo arrives with his own plans and ideas for the future, which clash with Lilac's desire to keep everything as it was. Old wounds, unspoken reproaches, and suppressed feelings are rekindled, forcing them both to confront a past they never truly closed the door on.

Lilac finds herself at a crossroads: should she cling to the certainties that make her feel safe, or risk opening her heart to change? Can she forgive – not just others, but herself too? And is it possible to believe in a love that failed once before?
