A trick on the opponent

How do you get revenge on a terrible ex? You can fake a relationship with his opponent!

Being a physiotherapist for professional hockey players is challenging enough in itself, but now my ex has joined the team. He's the reason I don't date hockey players.

The new captain of the Vancouver Storm and the best scorer in the professional league, Rory Miller, is an arrogant, cocky hockey player who I tutored in high school. But now he's agreed to start fake dating me. At least this way I'll get revenge on my ex and Rory will improve his image. It's an absolutely perfect deal.

This trick of ours is also unexpectedly fun and addictive. Underneath the tough guy mask, Rory is a sweet, funny and protective guy.

He's gonna teach me how to skate. He sleeps in my bed. He kisses me like it's real between us.
But what if he never pretended anything at all?
