AKASA SOHO AR 120mm ARGB White
AKASA SOHO AR 120mm ARGB White
The AKASA SOHO AR12 White is a fan designed for efficient cooling of computer cases, but it can also be mounted on a radiator. It features aerodynamically shaped blades, intelligent speed control, and an extended-life bearing, which work together to ensure smooth and quiet operation. The white design is complemented by addressable RGB backlighting. The fan's reinforced frame increases overall rigidity and reduces vibration transfer to the computer's structure. Anti-vibration pads are placed on the corners to help reduce noise and ensure stable mounting without putting unnecessary strain on surrounding components. The design is tailored for quiet and balanced operation, even at higher speeds.
Key features of the AKASA SOHO AR12 White PC fan
- Aerodynamically shaped blades with an optimised curve
- Long-life, quiet MHD bearing
- 14 individually addressable LEDs
- Compatibility with major motherboard manufacturers' RGB software
- PWM speed control based on system temperature
- Reinforced frame with anti-vibration pads
- White finish suitable for light-coloured PC builds
Customisable ARGB backlighting
The fan is equipped with 14 individually addressable LEDs distributed across three lighting zones in the frame. These create smooth and uniform lighting effects with over 16 million colour combinations. The backlighting control is compatible with motherboard manufacturer software, such as ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock, and Razer, which enables easy synchronisation with other components.
Optimised aerodynamics
The blade shape, with its enhanced curve, promotes stable airflow and ensures efficient cooling while maintaining low noise levels. The rotor is designed to minimise turbulence, contributing to quiet operation even at higher speeds. This means the fan can maintain a steady airflow under load without unnecessarily increasing system noise.
Long-life bearing
The fan uses MHD (Magnetic Hydro Dynamic) technology, which improves lubrication through higher oil capacity and even lubricant distribution. This ensures smoother operation, lower friction, and a longer bearing life of up to 40000 hours. The design also reduces vibration, which lowers noise during both normal and long-term use.
Intelligent speed control
PWM control automatically adjusts the fan speed to the current temperature of the components. The fan remains quiet at low loads and only increases its performance when more intensive airflow is needed. The stable pressure and flow rate make it suitable for various types of cooling, whether in a computer case, on a heatsink, or on a radiator.
