Allen & Heath ZED-14

The 14-channel Allen & Heath ZED-14 mixing console features 6 microphone mono inputs with inserts and HPF and 4 stereo channels. It is the ideal partner for small groups, recording, live broadcast and home audio projects. It includes a 3-band EQ on mono inputs and a 2-band EQ on stereo inputs. It uses high quality 100mm ALPS tension potentiometers and features a total of 157 front panel controls, all clearly and intuitively organized. The XLR microphone inputs offer a gain range of up to 69 dB and the line input is implemented via a TRS jack. The console is also equipped with 4 auxiliary AUX buses (2× pre, 2× post). AUX 1 and 2 contain the main level control. AUXes can be routed to the USB output for recording or software plugin effects. AUX 1 and 2 can be set up as a stereo pair with sends on the stereo channels switched to mono or stereo. Usability is further extended by a USB audio interface for stereo input and output.

USB sound card

The built-in USB sound card is designed for recording and playback of content. AUXes or the main output can be routed to USB. The card is "plug and play" and no drivers need to be installed to use it on a PC/Mac. The USB can also be used for an effects loop for software plug-ins.
