APC Back-UPS PRO BR-1300VA

APC Back-UPS PRO BR-1300VA
The APC Back-UPS Pro BR-1300VA backup power supply uses Standby topology and provides an apparent power of 1300VA, or a real power of 780W, to power high-performance computer systems, games consoles and network components. This backup power supply integrates Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which stabilises network fluctuations without switching to battery. A clear LCD display shows key operating parameters and simplifies unit setup. At full load, it powers connected devices for 2.1 minutes, and at half load for 10.6 minutes. All features protect connected electronics from data loss and hardware damage.

Performance and voltage regulation
The backup power supply uses Standby (Off-line) topology, providing an apparent power of 1300VA and a real power of 780W. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function corrects undervoltage and overvoltage without needing to switch to battery. This saves battery capacity for complete power outages. At a full load of 780W, it keeps connected devices running for 2.1 minutes, and at half load for 10.6 minutes.
Battery and protection
In the event of an outage, power is provided by a user-replaceable 24V lead-acid battery with a capacity of 6.0Ah. It takes 16 hours to fully charge. The supply protects sensitive electronics with surge protection that absorbs 509J of energy. It also features continuous multi-pole noise filtering and protection against deep battery discharge. It also protects data networks (RJ-45) and telephone lines (RJ-11) from voltage spikes.
Management and communication
A USB communication port handles PC connection and power management. With HID standard support, the power supply does not require special drivers to be installed on modern operating systems. Compatible management software then enables status monitoring and automatic safe system shutdown during a prolonged power outage.
Connectivity options
An IEC C14 input connector is used to connect to the mains. For powering appliances, it offers a total of eight IEC C13 output sockets. Six ports provide full battery backup and surge protection, while the remaining two sockets offer only surge protection for less critical devices. RJ-45 and RJ-11 ports complement the connectivity options for data and telephone line protection.
