This UPS uses a line-interactive topology that corrects undervoltage and overvoltage using automatic voltage regulation, without switching to battery power. The apparent power is 900VA and the real power reaches 540W. The efficiency at full load is 97%. The backup time at full load is 4 minutes and 38 seconds, while at a 100W load it extends to 58 minutes.
Battery and protection features
Inside is a 24V lead-acid battery with a capacity of 7Ah. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours. The battery is easily user-replaceable for simple maintenance. The cold start feature starts the UPS even without mains input power. Electronics are protected by a surge protector with 613J of energy absorption and RJ11 data line protection. A USB communication interface and an RS-232 serial port are provided for management and status monitoring. Thanks to HID compatibility via the USB port, you can connect the UPS to a computer without installing additional drivers and use the native power management functions in the operating system.
Connectivity and software
The UPS connects to the mains using a standard plug for 230V. The output section offers a total of five Schuko CEE 7 sockets. Three of them provide full battery backup and surge protection, while the remaining two offer surge protection only. It also includes protection for a telephone or data line with an RJ11 connector. The included PowerChute Personal Edition software expands its capabilities with automatic work saving and safe system shutdown during a prolonged power outage. Audible alarms alert you to changes in power status, low battery, or overload.
