The APC Smart-UPS SRT 10000VA backup power supply with online double-conversion topology delivers a true power output of 10000W (10000VA). It provides a pure sine wave output and, at half load, powers connected devices for 11 minutes and 27 seconds. At full load, the backup time is 3 minutes and 45 seconds. The unit protects critical electronics during power outages and mains voltage fluctuations. It can be mounted in a 6U rack or used as a standalone tower.

Performance and protection with double-conversion topology

The online double-conversion UPS continuously regenerates the input voltage, protecting connected electronics from all mains power anomalies. The device always generates a pure sine wave with harmonic distortion below 2%, which is crucial for powering sensitive servers and medical equipment. At half load, it operates at a high efficiency of 95.1%, reducing operating costs and heat loss. An internal bypass complements the protective features, activating automatically during an overload or fault, and it also includes surge protection with an absorption capacity of 480J.

Battery and runtime extension

The unit includes an APCRBC140 lead-acid battery, which you can easily replace while it's running without needing to shut down connected devices. The intelligent battery management system reduces charging time to just 1.5 hours. For critical applications requiring longer autonomy, you can connect up to ten SRT192RMBP2 external battery packs. This lets you flexibly scale the backup time according to specific business continuity requirements. A predictive battery replacement notification provides advance warning when service is needed.

Advanced management

For remote monitoring and control, the unit includes an integrated Network Management Card 3 with an Ethernet port. Local communication is provided by USB and RS-232 ports. The included PowerChute Network Shutdown software automates the safe shutdown process for physical servers and virtual machines, preventing data loss during an extended power outage. Additionally, a free SmartSlot enables further expansion, such as adding an environmental monitoring card or I/O contacts for integration with industrial systems.

Connectivity options

The input power connects via a hard-wire terminal block that supports both single-phase (1PH+N+G) and three-phase (3PH+N+G) wiring. To power the load, it offers a wide range of output sockets, including six IEC C13 ports and four IEC C19 ports, complemented by three IEC Jumpers. This versatility simplifies the connection of complex server infrastructure without the need for additional distribution panels.
