ARCTIC P14 Pro Reverse
The ARCTIC P14 Pro Reverse PC fan efficiently cools the components in your computer case. Its specific design with reverse airflow draws air from the outside, contributing to an aesthetically clean build where the front of the fan is visible. This 140mm PWM fan achieves a high static pressure of 5.1mmH2O, making it suitable for mounting on dense radiators or behind dust filters. It uses an advanced FDB bearing for quiet operation and reduced vibration. The speed range is automatically controlled from 400 to 2650rpm, and it activates a passive Zero RPM mode under low load for complete silence.
Key features of the ARCTIC P14 Pro Reverse PC fan
- Reverse airflow design for a clean build appearance
- Fluid Dynamic Bearing limits operational vibration and noise
- PST technology enables fan daisy-chaining and synchronous control
- Zero RPM mode switches the fan off under low system load, saving energy
- SOTA microcontroller reduces motor noise and protects the electronics
- Speed is regulated by a PWM signal in the range of 400 to 2650rpm
Reverse airflow
The fan's design creates a reverse airflow. The fan draws in air from the side where the frame and its suspension are located. This solution is ideal for installation on the bottom or side panel of the case, where it acts as an intake fan with a clean look, without the support structure being visible. The blades are optimised to reduce resistance and noise. The fan reaches speeds of up to 2650rpm, generating an airflow of 166.5m³/h and a static pressure of 5.1mmH2O. It uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing, which limits friction and operational vibrations thanks to an oil capsule and a special seal. In addition, a modern SOTA microcontroller reduces motor noise and protects the electronics from current fluctuations.
Easy connection with PST technology
The fan features PST technology. The cable includes not only a 4-pin connector for connecting to the motherboard, but also a 4-pin socket. This means you can connect several fans in series and plug them into a single connector on the motherboard. All fans in the chain are then synchronously controlled by a single PWM signal. The PWM signal controls the fan speed over a wide range from 400 to 2650rpm. When the system is under a low load and the PWM signal is below 5%, it activates the Zero RPM mode. In this mode, the fan stops completely for silent operation during light tasks, such as working in office applications or browsing the web.
