The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5060 Ti O8G is a graphics card built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with a GB206 chip. It has 8GB of GDDR7 memory clocked at 28GHz and a 128-bit bus. The card uses a PCI Express 5.0 x16 interface and offers DisplayPort 2.1b and HDMI 2.1b outputs. Efficient cooling with three fans
Cooling is handled by three axial fans, which have longer blades for improved airflow and a barrier ring to increase downward pressure. At GPU temperatures below 50°C, the fans stop thanks to 0dB technology, ensuring silent operation during less demanding tasks. MaxContact technology expands the cooler's contact area by 5% compared to traditional solutions, helping to reduce temperatures by up to 2°C. The card's backplate includes large ventilation openings for more effective heat dissipation. The mounting bracket is made of stainless steel, which provides high strength and corrosion resistance.
Dual BIOS and automated manufacturing
The card offers Dual BIOS with the option to switch between Performance and Quiet modes according to user preference. Performance mode maintains lower core temperatures with higher fan speeds, while Quiet mode maintains the same power limit with milder fan operation. The design uses Auto-Extreme Technology, an automated manufacturing process that completes all soldering in a single pass, thereby reducing thermal stress on components. ASUS GPU Guard reinforces all four corners of the GPU to reduce the risk of cracking.
Performance of the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture
The NVIDIA Blackwell architecture introduces fifth-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 support for maximum AI performance and fourth-generation Ray Tracing Cores optimised for processing extensive geometry.
