The AXAGON ADE-AR external network card easily turns a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port into a Gigabit Ethernet port. The USB network adapter is compatible with 10/100/1000Mbit/s speeds and enhances your computer with a fast and stable network connection. It adds a missing RJ-45 connector, provides an additional network card, or replaces an original non-functional network connection.
In addition to gigabit throughput, the LAN adapter offers a wide range of features such as IPv4/IPv6 checksum for reducing CPU load with checksums, crossover detection and auto-correction, TCP large send offload, support for various Wake-on-LAN modes, working with VLANs, and advanced Power Management features.
Its compact size and minimal weight make it an ideal accessory for laptops. Support for current versions of Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS means it can be used with any desktop computer, laptop, or ultrabook. In Windows 8.1 and above, the adapter allows for easy automatic installation without needing an internet connection.

Wake-on-LAN support in various modes:

- Supports the ECMA-393 proxZzzy® standard for sleeping hosts for managing the network connection of sleeping hosts using proxy servers.
- RealWoW! technology support enables remote wake-up over the internet.
