The AXAGON PCEM2-DC controller expands your desktop computer, allowing you to connect two M.2 SSDs via the PCI-Express bus. This PCIe to M.2 card is designed for installing modern drives into systems that lack M.2 slots, giving them access to high-speed storage. It supports the simultaneous connection of one M.2 SATA and one M.2 NVMe drive. Thanks to its PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface with a transfer speed of up to 8GB/s, you can harness the full performance of both connected SSDs without compromise. The adapter is also backward compatible with PCIe x8 and x16 slots, making it functional across a wide range of motherboards.

Support for both SATA and NVMe drives
The adapter offers two slots for different types of M.2 drives. The B-key slot is for an M.2 SATA SSD, while the M-key slot is for connecting an M.2 NVMe SSD. The card supports the simultaneous operation of a slower SATA drive and a fast NVMe drive, increasing flexibility when choosing your storage. You can install single-sided and double-sided drives of various lengths.
Combined cooling
To maintain stable drive performance even under heavy load, the controller uses a combined cooling system. An aluminium passive heatsink covers both M.2 drives and dissipates heat from them. To increase efficiency, an active fan complements the aluminium passive heatsink, and together with the copper holes in the PCB, they reduce the operating temperature of the drives by up to 35°C.
Easy installation
Installing the card in your computer is straightforward and requires no driver installation, thanks to full Plug and Play support. Power is supplied directly from the PCI-Express bus, which eliminates the need to connect any additional external power cables. For installation in low-profile computer cases, you will also find a low-profile bracket in the package. The package includes all mounting materials, including a screwdriver and thermal pads, for immediate use.
