The Be quiet! Dark Rock 5 CPU air cooler effectively dissipates heat from processors with a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 210W. Its core consists of dense aluminium fins and six high-performance copper heat pipes that rapidly distribute heat from the base. Active cooling is provided by the Silent Wings 4 120mm PWM fan, which uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing for a long lifespan and low operational noise. Even at its maximum speed of 2100 rpm, the noise level does not exceed 29.8dB(A), contributing to the quiet operation of the entire build.

Asymmetrical construction
The asymmetrical design of the heatsink, along with cut-outs on the fins, intentionally avoids interfering with the space for high-profile RAM modules. This design also leaves sufficient space for the motherboard's VRM coolers, preventing component collisions and expanding compatibility. This makes this quiet CPU cooler suitable for a wide range of builds, including those with larger components. Support includes all current AMD and Intel sockets.
Efficient heat dissipation
The entire heatsink is covered with a special black coating containing ceramic particles, which improves heat radiation into the surrounding air and contributes to overall cooling efficiency. The cooler's base is made of copper and its surface is fully nickel-plated. This treatment protects the base and also prepares it for the safe use of liquid metal-based thermal pastes, which offer higher thermal conductivity.
Easy installation and a clean look
Installation is made easier by the pre-mounted mounting bridge and the included long screwdriver, which simplifies access to the fastening screws. The top cover, with its magnetic attachment and mesh structure, conceals the heat pipe ends and mounting holes, contributing to a unified look for the entire PC build. The design also allows for the installation of a second fan on the exhaust side to further increase air pressure and cooling performance.
