Be quiet! Pure Loop 3 240mm
Be quiet! Pure Loop 3 240mm
The Be quiet! Pure Loop 3 240mm water cooler is designed for users seeking high cooling performance and quiet operation. It offers efficient heat dissipation, reliability, and a simple design without RGB lighting. It is suitable for mildly overclocked systems and demanding processors. At the heart of the system is a 240mm radiator fitted with two Pure Wings 3 fans, which are optimised for high static pressure. This allows the water cooler to push air through even the densest radiator fins with low noise. The entire Be quiet cooler focuses on pure function without distracting elements like RGB lighting. The quiet water cooler combines an advanced PWM pump to reduce vibrations and fans with intelligent speed control. Be quiet! Pure Loop 3 is a reliable solution for workstations and gaming PCs where stability and acoustic comfort are a priority.
Key features of the Be quiet! Pure Loop 3 240mm water cooler
- High cooling performance for all common consumer processors and mildly overclocked systems
- PWM-controllable pump with a 6-pole motor reduces vibrations and ensures quiet operation
- Two Pure Wings 3 PWM high-speed fans with a funnel-shaped air outlet provide high static pressure and quiet operation
- Closed-loop motor technology in the fans maintains stable speeds regardless of air resistance
- Daisy-chaining the fans simplifies cabling and connection
- Flexible braided hoses and a simple mounting system make installation easy
- Easily accessible port allows for refilling the liquid

Advanced PWM pump
The innovative, PWM-controllable pump is the heart of the entire circuit, actively adjusting its performance to the current processor load. It uses an advanced 6-pole, three-phase motor, whose design effectively suppresses operational vibrations and noise across the entire speed range from 3000 to 5500 RPM. Compared to standard pumps, this motor generates significantly less turbulence in the cooling circuit, resulting not only in lower noise levels but also smoother operation. This technical solution ensures the pump remains barely audible even at higher performance, contributing to the overall quietness of the computer build.
Pure Wings 3 fans with high static pressure
The pair of Pure Wings 3 120mm PWM high-speed fans efficiently dissipate heat from the 240mm aluminium radiator. These fans are specifically designed for use on radiators, where high static pressure is needed to overcome the resistance of dense fins. They use closed-loop motor technology, which acts as a feedback mechanism to constantly monitor and adjust the fan speed, maintaining a stable rate regardless of air resistance. In addition, the funnel-shaped outlet frame concentrates the airflow, increasing its pressure and reducing unwanted turbulence, which leads to quieter operation while maintaining high efficiency.
Easy installation
The cooler's installation is designed for simplicity and flexibility. The 400mm long braided hoses provide enough freedom for routing in various types of computer cases, from smaller to larger formats. A key simplification is the ability to daisy-chain the fans. This means both fans can be connected to a single PWM header on the motherboard, significantly reducing the number of cables and making it easier to manage them for a cleaner internal layout. This approach not only improves aesthetics but also ensures it doesn't obstruct airflow inside the case.
Long-term operation and a clean look
Be quiet! focuses on reliability and longevity. That's why the cooler is equipped with an easily accessible fill port, which allows the user to simply top up the coolant when needed, thereby extending the trouble-free operation of the entire system. This feature distinguishes the Pure Loop 3 from many fully sealed, maintenance-free kits. The cooler's design is intentionally simple; the black colour and clean lines of the pump block and fans will appeal primarily to builders who prefer performance and silence over lighting effects and are creating builds with a professional and unobtrusive look.
