BenQ LU960 projector laser light source
The laser light source does not require regular lamp replacement. The lifespan is 20000 hours in normal mode and 38000 hours in ECO mode. Dimming mode extends the lifespan to up to 70000 hours. The cooling noise level ranges from 37dB in normal mode to 35dB in ECO mode. Power consumption reaches a maximum of 500W, typical consumption is 450W, and it drops to 350W in ECO mode.
Flexible installation and short throw
This short-throw projector casts a large image from a short distance, ranging from 1.524m to 12.192m. Installation is simplified by a 1.5× optical zoom and keystone correction with a range of ±30° both horizontally and vertically. The wide lens shift range makes it easy to place the projector off-centre from the screen. The design supports 360° projection, portrait mode, and continuous 24/7 operation. The sealed optical unit meets the IP5X dust resistance certification.
Advanced features
The BenQ LU960 projector features a built-in 10W speaker for basic audio. It supports 3D content display and is compatible with a 4K input signal. Fast mode reduces input lag for precise responses in simulators. White balance calibration matches the colours when blending images from multiple projectors.
Connectivity options
The BenQ LU960 projector offers a wide range of connectivity options. It includes two HDMI 2.0a inputs, one HDMI output, a DisplayPort and a D-sub. The HDBaseT port transmits video, audio, and control signals over a single cable for distances of up to 100 metres. The equipment is complemented by LAN, RS232, a power-supplying USB Type A, and a service USB Mini B port.
