Blood Full Moon
Missing Girls and a Dark Truth
Detective John Bowie is on the verge of being fired. Recently divorced and with a slight tendency towards alcoholism, Bowie is doing everything he can to cope with what he did (or rather, didn't do) during the investigation into the case of Crissy Mellin, a teenager who disappeared over three years ago. Now, however, an episode of the true-crime show 'Critical Moment' is about to air, focusing on this very event. And Bowie has been instructed by his unscrupulous boss to keep his complaints and criticisms about the mishandled investigation to himself.
Beth Collins, the producer of 'Critical Moment', knows how to create a great story and when there's more to it than meets the eye. She believes Crissy's disappearance was not an isolated incident. A series of teenage girl disappearances in the area share one common factor: they all occurred on the night of a so-called blood moon. In a last-ditch effort to uncover the truth, Beth travels to ask Detective Bowie for help in finding out what happened to Crissy and in tracking down the real culprit, who could strike again – in just four days, during the next blood moon.
