The end of the world took a few seconds. Most of humanity died during that time. Those who were unlucky like Carl and survived were given a choice: either play Fallout in a radioactive wasteland or join the World Dungeon—the most-watched reality show in the galaxy.

The game, controlled by a sadistic artificial intelligence with a fetish for bare feet, has simple rules. Want Earth back? Avoid deadly traps, slaughter perverted monsters, and reach the eighteenth floor within the time limit. The only problem is, you have to do it in style.

Alien viewers want to be entertained, and only if you can win them over will they be willing to send you moolah for better equipment. However, becoming a star is a bit of a problem for Carl, who entered the Dungeon wearing only a leather jacket and boxer shorts.
