Cat on the go

The book The Goodbye Cat (みとりねこ), published in Japan in 2021, presents seven different stories about people and cats. In two of them, readers will once again meet the heroes of the bestseller The Travelling Cat Chronicles (旅猫リポート) – Satoru Miyawaki and his cats Hachi and Nana. At the same time, you will learn many interesting things about life and the peculiarities of interpersonal relationships in Japan, about the Japanese family, traditions and customs in all stages of human and cat life, from birth to death.

The book will delight not only cat lovers, but also anyone interested in faraway Japan who likes to relax with a quiet read of touching, and at times humorous, stories about the shared coexistence of people with people, cats with cats, and of course, people with cats.
