Fifteen hundred miles from the sun

Julián Luna has his life planned out: Pass his A-levels. Get into the University of California, Los Angeles. And get the chance to move away from Corpus Christi, Texas, away from the suffocating expectations of others that force him to live a dishonest life.

Then his plans for a low-key nine months collapse like a house of cards – in one thoughtless moment, with one impulsive tweet. The downside: the whole world finds out the truth and Jules must prepare for rejection. The upside: it gives Jules the opportunity to live for himself.

By chance, Mat, an adorable and understanding Twitter user from Los Angeles, slides into Jules' DMs. Jules falls for him instantly – he can tell him everything. With Mat, the world seems manageable. But when Jules' fears about coming out become reality, the person he needs most is fifteen hundred miles away. Jules has to face them all alone.

In short, Jules has dived headfirst into the life he's always dreamed of. And now that he's in control, it's up to him what he does first and what he does next.
