8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad - Purple - Nintendo Switch / PC
The 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth gamepad is for playing games on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, PCs with Windows 10 or 11, and mobile devices running Android and iOS. The device also supports Switch 1/2, Windows, SteamOS, Android and Apple operating systems.
Key features of the 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth gamepad, Purple, Nintendo Switch / PC
- Magnetic ABXY buttons for easy physical swapping between Switch and Xbox layouts
- Integrated docking station keeps the battery charged and ready to use
- High-sensitivity, low-power TMR joysticks
- Triggers with optional linear or microswitch action
- Quick R4 and L4 bumpers for instant response without software setup
- Internal memory stores up to three user setting profiles
- Six-axis gyroscope for sensing the controller's position in space
Charging dock
The package includes a charging dock that keeps the integrated 1000mAh battery charged. When you remove the controller from this dock, it automatically reconnects to the last paired compatible device. This system reduces the need to manually turn on and search for a signal before starting each game. The dock connects via the included USB cable.
TMR joysticks and precision sensing
The controller uses TMR joysticks, which deliver higher sensitivity and movement precision while reducing power consumption from the battery. The sensor chip operates with 12-bit resolution for detailed registration of even the slightest stick tilt. The design includes wear-resistant rings, increasing the overall mechanical durability of the entire joystick during intensive use. The magnetic ABXY buttons can be easily removed to physically swap the layout between the Nintendo Switch and Xbox standards.
Fast response and extra buttons
The controller has a total of 16 buttons, including quick R4 and L4 bumpers and two programmable back paddle buttons. These controls are for remapping functions without needing to immediately install any utility software. The device also supports a Turbo function, vibration, and a six-axis motion sensing set using a gyroscope for compatible game consoles and systems. The trigger switches operate in two different modes, which can be toggled using an integrated hardware selector. This setting adapts the trigger behaviour to the specific demands of racing games or fast-paced shooters.
Wireless connection
The wireless connection is provided by the included 2.4GHz USB-C adapter, which reduces transmission latency. For detailed customisation, use the 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2, where you can adjust stick sensitivity, button mapping, and vibration strength. You can save up to three separate user profiles to the controller's internal memory.
