Places you've already passed through take on new forms, opening up extraordinary paths for further exploration. To travel quickly through the vast areas, you will use the Nekaroo, a faithful feline companion with the agility needed to traverse hard-to-reach places.

The visual style of Edge of Memories for Xbox Series X draws inspiration from Japanese anime, presenting the colourful world of Heryon through the continent of Avaris. The distinctive environment is brought to life by Unreal Engine 5 and, alongside impressive scenery, will offer a glimpse of the beauty of a landscape gradually being consumed by the Corrosion. Each area shows a different face of the ruined continent, highlighting the world's transformation during your journey.
CORROSION
The story of Edge of Memories for Xbox Series X is built on original narration, where every quest is significant to the plot, the characters, or their relationships. You will see the life of the nomadic peoples forced to migrate by the Corrosion, as well as the fates of those who have decided to await death while simultaneously celebrating life. Eline will thus face formidable adversaries and the destinies of Avaris's inhabitants on her quest to save the world.
SOUNDTRACK
The atmosphere of Edge of Memories for Xbox Series X is accompanied by a dynamic and adaptive soundtrack composed by Cédric Menendez. While exploring Avaris and during battles with corrupted enemies, you'll hear tracks complemented by the vocals of Emi Evans, known from NieR. Eline's journey is concluded by a final theme from Yasunori Mitsuda, the composer for Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Sea of Stars.
