The sequel continues to shorten its name from Gears of War to just Gears 5. This time our protagonist is Kait Diaz, a friend of the previous protagonist JD Fenix.
Emphasis on the story
The fifth part of the successful Gears of War series came out in 2019 and arrived under the name Gears 5. Joining Kait are the familiar characters from the previous game, including Marcus Fenix himself. As the trailers suggested, the game is highly story-focused and the creators promise an adventure in the largest and most beautiful world in the series yet.
