Benefits of Pre-Orders:
R-Type Dimensions III Nintendo Switch builds on the legendary R-Type Dimensions and R-Type Dimensions EX, bringing their classic experience to a modern twist. The iconic arcade shooter returns in a visual and audio reimagining that respects the original style while still using current technology.
R-Type Dimensions III Nintendo Switch has been completely recreated with attention to detail, fluidity and atmosphere. New graphics, improved effects and an upgraded soundtrack take classic battles with the alien menace to a whole new level without losing their typical difficulty.
Expanded game modes and new features give players more ways to enjoy R-Type, whether they're returning for nostalgia or discovering the series for the first time. The result is the most comprehensive and sophisticated modern edition of the classic R-Type era.
ENTITA
In the far future of R-Type Dimensions III Nintendo Switch, humanity faces its greatest threat. The Bydo Empire, a terrifying biomechanical life form, can corrupt and devour everything it touches. Originally, the Bydo was created by humans as a weapon, but the experiment spiraled out of control and the entity began to exist outside of normal space and time. After several devastating wars and events on the brink of annihilation, the Bydo returns again, stronger, more adaptable and more aggressive than ever.
RAGNAROK
The Earth Space Corps is therefore deploying its state-of-the-art R-90 Ragnarok fighter, the next generation of the legendary R-Type ships. As its pilot, you venture into extremely inhospitable zones that constantly shift between normal reality and the warped dimension of Bydo. Your goal in R-Type Dimensions III Nintendo Switch is to penetrate deep into enemy territory, disrupt key structures of the empire and destroy its very core before it consumes all of humanity.
ARCADE
R-Type Dimensions III Nintendo Switch brings the intensity, precise gameplay and imaginative enemy design of the original arcade titles into the modern day. Each level, boss and shooting pattern has been recreated using detailed 3D graphics, fluid animations and richly crafted environments, while retaining the dark atmosphere and uncompromising challenge that are typical of the R-Type series.
COOPERATION
Building on the foundation of R-Type Dimensions and R-Type Dimensions EX, a completely redesigned edition with modern visuals, sound and expanded game modes has been created. There's local co-op with new scoring and survival mechanics, an advanced mode available right from the start, and the ability to customize controls and other practical settings. The result is the most comprehensive and technically advanced take on the classic R-Type era, ready for a new generation of players.
