Starfield is the first new world in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In the year 2330, humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets and living as a space-faring nation. You'll join Constellation - the latest group of space explorers searching for rare artifacts across the galaxy - as they explore the vast universe in Bethesda Game Studios' biggest and most ambitious game yet.
In Starfield, the most important story is the one you tell with your character. Start your quest by customizing your appearance and determining your story background and characteristics. Journey among the stars and discover more than 1,000 planets. Navigate bustling cities, search dangerous outposts and conquer wild landscapes. Get to know and recruit a handful of interesting characters, join faction expeditions and complete orders across populated systems. New stories and experiences will be waiting for you all the time.
Explore planets and their fauna, flora and raw materials needed to produce everything from medicines and food to equipment and weapons. Build outposts, hire crew to passively mine materials, and establish cargo links to transport resources between them. Invest these raw materials in research projects and unlock unique production recipes.
The universe can be a dangerous place. Thanks to a fine-tuned combat system, you'll have the tools to tackle any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons or demolitions, each weapon type can be customised to suit your play style. Zero-gravity environments add chaotic spectacle to combat, while jetpacks give players unprecedented freedom of movement.
