The Alters PC is an emotional sci-fi game that combines elements of survival, adventure and base-building. You will take on the role of Jan Dolsky, the sole survivor of a failed space mission, trying to escape from an inhospitable planet.

In order to survive, Jan must create a crew, an unconventional one, but the only one possible. Using a substance called Rapidium, it creates alternative versions of itself, called. ALTERS. Each of them is a reflection of decisions that John could have made differently in the past.

Some Alters will help you survive, others can be a source of conflict. The key to success is to strike a balance between personal relationships, psychological well-being and the need for the team to function effectively.

Your base is the heart of the mission, but you need resources to run it. As you explore the planet's surface, you will search for metals, materials and other essential resources. But any expedition outside the base means exposure to deadly anomalies and intense solar radiation. So the daily cycle is not just a cosmetic element, you need to plan your activities with the safety of you and your Alters in mind. Risk is profit, but often the cost of bad timing can be fatal.
