Her Last Tear

CAN SHE FIND THE MISSING GIRLS, OR WILL SHE BE LEFT WITH NOTHING BUT TEARS?

When six-year-old Abigail Walker and her sister Thea disappear from the crowd during Stillwater's Lumberjack Days celebration, FBI Special Agent Nikki Hunt immediately launches a search. The girls wouldn't just leave with anyone, and since no one noticed their disappearance, the most likely theory is that they knew their abductor.

Nikki focuses on this line of investigation, especially after discovering that the girls' mother, Britney, ran away from Thea's manipulative father, Silas Hatch, ten years ago. However, a witness comes forward claiming to have seen a boy at the festival with Thea's pink handbag. But how is the agent supposed to find the boy when someone on her team is doing everything to keep his identity a secret?

Time is running out for Thea, who suffers from diabetes, and Nikki can't trust anyone. Can she uncover the truth and save the girls before it's too late?
