Imou Ranger 2
Imou Ranger 2
The Imou Ranger 2 IP Camera is a compact Cube indoor security device that records video in 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution. This device uses a 1/2.7” 2-megapixel progressive CMOS sensor and a fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length, which offers a 93° horizontal viewing angle. It works reliably in all light conditions thanks to its infrared night vision with a range of up to 10m. Power is supplied by a 5V DC 1A mains adaptor, with power consumption not exceeding 3.5W. The motorised rotating mechanism allows for full room coverage with no blind spots.

Detailed Image and Efficient Compression
The 1/2.7” 2-megapixel progressive CMOS sensor captures video in 1920 × 1080 resolution at up to 25/30 frames per second. The fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length provides a field of view of 93° horizontally, 48° vertically, and 115° screen sizely. Modern H.265 and H.264 video compression significantly reduces data and storage requirements while maintaining high recording quality.
Smart Tracking and Human Detection
Advanced image processing technology can accurately detect the presence of a person in the monitored area, minimising false alarms. The integrated system automatically tracks moving targets and keeps the subject in focus throughout the entire field of view. Users can set a configurable detection area in the companion app to monitor only selected parts of the room.
Two-Way Audio and Security Siren on the IP Camera
The built-in microphone and speaker with echo cancellation allow for clear two-way communication with family members or pets from a distance. The device reacts to unusual sounds, such as a baby crying, and immediately sends a notification to your mobile phone. In the event of an intrusion, it activates the built-in sound alarm with a loud siren to deter unwanted visitors.
Flexible Data Storage and Privacy Protection
Recordings can be stored locally on a Micro SD card with a capacity of up to 256GB or you can use NVR network storage with ONVIF protocol support. For physical privacy when you're at home, all it takes is a single click in the mobile app. The camera will then automatically tilt its lens downwards, reliably preventing any unwanted recording.
Connectivity and App for the Imou Ranger 2 IP Camera
Wireless connectivity is provided by a Wi-Fi module operating in the 2.4GHz band according to IEEE802.11b/g/n standards, with a range of up to 50m in an open space. There is also a physical RJ-45 LAN interface for a stable wired connection to your home network. Device management and live-stream viewing are handled through the Imou app for Android and iOS operating systems.
