Construction and compatibility
The chassis uses steel with a thickness of 1.0 to 1.2mm, which gives the entire assembly the necessary strength for demanding operation. The internal space accommodates graphics cards and CPU coolers with a limited height. The robust steel construction provides stability even when fully populated with components. The lid with latch locks makes it easy to access the hardware without the need for complex unscrewing.
Storage and cooling
The front section offers eight hot-swap bays, enabling operators to replace data storage drives while the system is running. Four pre-installed fans located directly behind the drive bays take care of heat dissipation from the hard drives and motherboard. This cooling system creates an optimal airflow throughout the entire interior. Temperatures remain at a safe level even under intense server load.
Connectivity and installation of the Inter-Tech IPC 2U-2408
In addition to the main drive bays, the case conceals a space for the internal installation of other hard drives. The front panel features two USB 3.0 ports for quickly connecting peripherals and LED indicators for power status and network activity. The rear side includes perforated blanking plates designed for low-profile expansion cards. These elements can be reused if the configuration is changed.
