The perspective of a conservative octogenarian on today's world, the story of economist Livia Klausová, who for decades stood aside creating a stable home for Václav Klaus, only to forge a successful diplomatic career in her seventies.
What is the former first lady of the Czech Republic and our country's ambassador to Slovakia really like?
You'll find out in this unique interview conducted with her by editor and presenter Pavlína Wolfová. Livia Klausová reflects on her life, as well as the current state of society, comparing it with past eras.
The book offers the reader an interesting commentary on our times through the eyes of a public figure who has seen and experienced a great deal, and who is not afraid to express her often very strong opinions and observations. The book is supplemented with photographs from the renowned photographer and multiple Czech Press Photo award winner, František Ortmann.
