The MSI GeForce RTX 5060 8G VENTUS 2X OC WHITE graphics card is based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with a GB206 chip. It has 8GB of GDDR7 memory with a frequency of 28GHz and a 128-bit bus. The boost frequency reaches up to 2535MHz in Extreme Performance mode via the MSI Center software. TORX Fan 5.0 cooling
The card uses a dual-fan cooling system with TORX Fan 5.0 technology, where the blades are connected by ring arcs to stabilise airflow and maintain high pressure. Heat pipes efficiently dissipate heat from the GPU to the finned heatsink. This is complemented by high-quality clay-based thermal pads that help draw heat away from critical components on the board. A reinforcing backplate features a ventilation opening, allowing exhaust air to flow freely. The fans are equipped with Zero Frozr technology, which stops them completely under low load.
Construction and protection
The board is fitted with fuses that provide additional protection against electrical damage. The power circuits use a DrMOS solution for high efficiency, low losses, and precise voltage regulation. The card's compact 197mm width makes it easy to install in smaller builds.
MSI Center and Afterburner software
MSI Center enables real-time monitoring and optimisation of the card, including an AI Tuning feature that intelligently adapts the system to the demands of AI-driven applications. MSI Afterburner software offers advanced overclocking options and detailed system parameter tracking. The graphics card also supports NVIDIA Studio tools for creators, NVIDIA Broadcast for AI-enhanced video, and the ninth-generation encoder.
