The Netgear EAX12 WiFi extender extends the coverage of your existing indoor wireless network. Weighing 0.222kg, the device operates on two bands and uses the WiFi 6 standard for a stable connection for multiple devices at once. It supports the 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards. The device creates a unified Mesh system with a single name and supports seamless roaming as you move between rooms. It uses two internal, non-detachable antennas to transmit the signal. Configuration and management are made easy with the Nighthawk mobile app.

The device works with a total wireless speed of up to 1.6Gbps and uses 4 data streams. The capacity is sufficient for smooth 4K or 8K UHD video playback and downloading large files. An integrated 880MHz dual-core processor handles network requests without delay. Users can stream video without annoying stuttering on several devices at once. The extender shows up to 1.5× higher performance compared to older WiFi 5 standard models.
Stable transmissions with WiFi 6
The WiFi 6 standard provides higher network capacity compared to the older 802.11ac standards. OFDMA technology divides channels and is used for efficient data transmission to several devices at the same time, for up to 4 devices simultaneously. In addition, the Uplink OFDMA feature organises transmission scheduling for high volumes of outbound traffic. This reduces latency when playing online games and increases overall network throughput. The device works with older WiFi 4 and WiFi 5 standards.
Reliable mesh system with the Netgear EAX12
The plug-in extender works with commonly available routers or gateways, extending their range to places where the signal from the main router cannot reach. The created mesh network uses the same name and password, eliminating the need for manual switching. Mobile phones and tablets use automatic switching to the stronger signal source with the Smart Roaming function while moving around the building, without any connection dropouts.
Gigabit Ethernet wired connection
The device has one 1Gbit LAN port that uses auto-sensing technology to automatically detect the speed. The port is used to connect end devices that do not have a wireless module or require a stable wired connection. This way, users can easily connect a games console or a smart TV using a standard ethernet cable. The wired interface supports speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps for fast data transfer.
Network security and mobile app
The modern WPA3 encryption standard protects the security of transmitted data. The protocol brings increased resistance against password attacks and protects user privacy on the local wireless network. The encryption protects the communication of all connected wireless devices from unauthorised external access. The device also supports standard 802.11i security with 128-bit AES encryption with PSK. There is also a reset button and an earthing pin on the body of the device. The Nighthawk mobile app makes the initial configuration and subsequent parameter settings easy in just a few minutes. Users can monitor the network status and check connected devices directly in the app on their mobile phone screen. The hardware WPS button for the Push 'N' Connect system also serves for quick pairing with the router without needing to enter passwords.
