nJoy Aira 1200

The nJoy Aira 1200 UPS is a line-interactive UPS that reliably powers appliances with high demands on current quality. With a true power output of 1000W (1200VA) and a pure sine wave output, it functions as a backup power source for heating, specifically for circulation pumps and other components. Thanks to its line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), it effectively stabilises fluctuations in the mains, which saves the battery. Support for external batteries with a capacity of up to 200Ah gives it a long backup time. The clear LCD display provides information on the operational status and makes it easy to monitor all important parameters.

Topology, power, battery and protection

The line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects mains fluctuations without switching to the battery. The UPS operates with an input voltage in the range of 145 to 275VAC. The output voltage is kept at 230VAC in battery mode. The transfer time to the battery does not exceed 10ms and the source can handle a short-term starting current of up to 3000W for starting motors. Operation requires an external 12VDC battery, which is not included in the package. The source supports both automotive and deep-cycle types with a recommended capacity from 40Ah to 200Ah. The user can switch the charging current between 10A and 20A according to the capacity of the connected battery. The cold start function starts the UPS even without mains power. Built-in protection mechanisms include overload, short circuit, overcharge and deep discharge protection for the battery.

Operational features and connectivity

The clear LCD display provides an instant overview of key operating parameters, such as battery status, current load, and input and output voltage. This facilitates diagnostics and monitoring without needing to connect to a computer. The unit's operation is quiet, with a noise level not exceeding 40dB, so it won't be a disturbance even in residential areas. Features like cold start or automatic restart after power is restored from the mains increase the reliability of the entire system. Two backed-up Schuko sockets connect and protect your appliances. You can connect the UPS to the electrical grid with a standard cable with a fixed plug.
