nJoy Balder 1000

The nJoy Balder 1000 UPS is an advanced 2U rack-mounted UPS solution that uses online double-conversion (VFI) topology to continuously protect connected devices from all mains power anomalies. This online UPS provides an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 1000W with an output power factor of 1.0. It supplies connected electronics with a pure sine wave and an output voltage accuracy of ±1%. At full load, it supplies power for 4 minutes, and at half load, 13 minutes. A wide input voltage range (110–300VAC at 50% load) reduces how often the unit switches to battery power. Its convertible design allows for both horizontal and vertical installation for flexible deployment.

Performance and battery system

Online double-conversion technology continuously regenerates the power supply, isolating connected devices from the mains. The UPS operates with a real power of 1000W (1000VA) at up to 96% efficiency. The wide input voltage range handles even unstable power supplies without switching to the battery. Inside, you will find three HR07122F batteries, which are user-replaceable and hot-swappable. The backup time can be extended by connecting an optional external battery module. The cold start function starts the UPS even without mains power. Operational continuity is supported by an internal bypass and an automatic restart after power is restored.

Advanced management and monitoring

For management and status monitoring, the UPS uses USB and RS-232 communication ports, as well as a free slot for installing an SNMP card, which enables remote monitoring and control over a network. For immediate shutdown in an emergency, it includes a dedicated EPO port. The user-friendly LCD displays key operating parameters and simplifies configuration. The user can also rotate its orientation for easy readability in both rack-mounted and vertical positions. During normal operation, the UPS noise level does not exceed 50dB.

Connectivity options

For connecting the load, the UPS offers eight IEC C13 output sockets. Of these eight outputs, the user can program four sockets, which enables setting power priorities for critical devices and managing the separate shutdown of individual load segments. The equipment also includes data network protection via RJ-45 ports.
