nJoy Code 2000

nJoy Code 2000
The nJoy Code 2000 backup power supply is a line-interactive UPS that provides a real power output of 1200W and an apparent power of 2000VA with a power factor of 0.6. This rackmount backup power supply integrates into standard server cabinets, where it occupies 2U of height. The line-interactive technology with AVR function actively stabilises fluctuating input voltage without needing to switch to battery, thereby saving battery life. At a half load of 600W, it powers connected devices for 3.7 minutes. The output voltage, with a simulated sine wave shape, offers full compatibility with computers and other devices using switched-mode power supplies. Its design and performance parameters meet the protection needs of smaller servers, network elements, and workstations.
Key features of the nJoy Code 2000 backup power supply
- Line-interactive technology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
- 2U rackmount design for installation in server cabinets
- Clear LCD for immediate status monitoring
- USB communication interface and management software
- Cold start function, even without mains power
- Protection against overload, deep discharge, and overcharging
- Restarts after power is restored
Topology, battery and protective functions
The power supply operates with Line-interactive (VI) technology and provides an output waveform in the form of a simulated sine wave. It handles a wide input voltage range of 162–290VAC and automatically recognises a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. The built-in AVR (Boost and buck) function stabilises voltage fluctuations without switching to battery power. The backup time varies with the load: at 25% load (300W), it is 17 minutes, while at 75% load (900W), it is 1.5 minutes. The power supply contains two internal GP09122L batteries. Charging them to 90% capacity takes 4 to 6 hours. The cold start function starts the UPS directly from the batteries, even without an input power supply. Integrated protective circuits prevent overloading, deep discharging, and overcharging of the batteries. This multi-level protection actively extends battery life and maintains their operational reliability.
Management and connectivity
A USB communication interface is used to connect to a computer. The included management software displays the UPS status and allows for automatic shutdown settings. The clear LCD provides real-time information on operating states, including load and battery capacity. The power supply automatically restarts after the power is restored. The operating noise level does not exceed 45dB. One IEC C14 input connector is used for connecting to the mains. To power protected equipment, it offers eight IEC C13 output sockets, providing connectivity for a server and peripheral devices.
