The NH-U12A CPU cooler brings air cooling to the compact 120mm class format. The design uses a completely redesigned heatsink with seven heat pipes and an increased fin surface area, allowing this model to compete with the performance of many larger 140mm coolers. The fins are soldered to the pipes, which guarantees a thermal interface that won't lose efficiency even after years of thermal cycling. The asymmetrical design ensures that the cooler does not interfere with the RAM slots, allowing the use of modules with tall heatsinks and guaranteeing easy access to components.

Premium fans and quiet operation
A pair of NF-A12x25 fans in a push/pull configuration handles active heat dissipation. These 120mm fans use a Self-stabilising Oil-pressure Bearing (SSO2), which ensures long life and quiet operation. PWM enables automatic speed control from 450 to 2000 RPM based on the current system load. The maximum noise level is just 22.6dB, while the airflow reaches up to 84.44m³/h. The operating voltage of the fans is a standard 12V.
Mounting system and wide compatibility
Installation is handled by the professional SecuFirm2 mounting system, which provides high reliability and even contact pressure. The cooler supports a wide range of sockets, including Intel LGA1700, LGA1851, LGA1200, older 115x, 2011, and 2066, as well as AMD platforms from AM2 up to the current AM5. For AMD Ryzen processors on the AM5 socket, special offset mounting bars are included in the package, which allow the cooler to be shifted 7mm towards the bottom of the socket. This ensures better contact over the processor's hotspot and more effective temperature reduction.
